Doris grew up in Chicago, IL and graduated from University of San Francisco School of Law in May 2002. Since December 2002, she has assisted thousands of clients in mediation and litigation in resolving issues related to high-valued asset and debt division, child custody, visitation (parenting plan), child support, and spousal support. She also specializes in drafting and reviewing premarital, post-marital, transmutation and marital settlement agreements. She has been a Certified Family Law Specialist since 2013.
She is a frequent volunteer attorney for the Family Court Division of the Santa Clara County Superior Court, assisting attorneys and parties in settlement conferences and personal property arbitrations. Doris is also a volunteer attorney for the Family Law Division of the San Mateo County Superior Court assisting unrepresented parties during Status Conferences in resolving and finalizing their cases. She is also on the Board of Advisors for several non-profit organizations.
Doris fluently speaks Chinese Mandarin, Cantonese and Shanghainese.
